United Armenian Council of Los Angeles Genocide Commemoration Committee 2018 marks the 103rd Anniversary of the Armenian Genocide perpetrated by the Ottoman Empire and celebrates the 50th Anniversary of the completion of the Armenian Genocide Memorial Monument in Montebello, California. Following Solemn Mass dedicated to the memory of our sainted martyrs, U.S. Representatives Hon. Ed Royce (R-CA 39th District); Hon. Adam Schiff (D-CA 28th District); State Senator Anthony J. Portantino and State Assemblymember Adrin Nazarian will deliver their messages. Students from many of Armenian community schools will participate in artistic performances especially prepared to mark the occasion. We invite the Public to participate in commemoration of the 103rd Anniversary of the Armenian Genocide, and celebrate the 50th Anniversary of the completion of the Armenian Genocide Memorial Monument, that will take place on April 22, 2018, from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m., at the Armenian Genocide Memorial Monument located in Bicknell Park, 910 Via Clemente, Montebello, California, 90640. Հայոց Ցեղասպանութեան Ոգեկոչման Լոս Անճելոսի Միացեալ Մարմնի կազմակերպութեամբ, Ցեղասպանութեան 103րդ տարելիցի ոգեկոչման հաւաքը տեղի պիտի ունենայ Կիրակի, Ապրիլ 22, 2018-ին, կ.ե. ժամը 2-4, Մոնթեպելլոյի մէջ տեղադրուած Հայոց Ցեղասպանութեան Նահատակաց Յուշարձանին առջեւ: Միեւնոյն ժամանակ պիտի նշուի Յուշարձանի կառուցման 50ամեակը: Այս տարի հաւաքի ընթացքին խօսք պիտի առնեն Միացեալ Նահանգներու Քոնկրէսի անդամներ՝ Էտ Ռոյս եւ Ատամ Շիֆ, ինչպէս նաեւ Գալիֆորնիոյ Ծերակոյտի անդամ Անթընի Փորթանթինօ եւ Նահանգային Համագումարի անդամ Ատրին Նազարեանը: Կրօնական արարողութեամբ պիտի նշուի սրբադասուած նահատակներու յիշատակը: Ոգեկոչման հաւաքի գեղարուեստական յայտագրին պիտի մասնակցին շրջանի հայկական վարժարաններու աշակերտները: Առ այդ, կոչ կ'ուղղենք մեր համայնքին, Մոնթեպելլոյի Յուշարձանի շուրջ համախմբուելով յարգելու յիշատակը մեր սրբադասուած նահատակներուն եւ նշելու Յուշարձանին 50ամեակը: Հայոց Ցեղասպանութեան Ոգեկոչման Միացեալ Մարմին Լոս Անճելոս - Մարտ 28, 2018 |
